Canada Welcomes 750 New Citizens

Canada has hit the headlines yet another time for all good reasons. At least 750 Canadian citizens were welcomed at the famous Stanley Milner library at the citizenship ceremonies. All these immigrants were from nearly 90 nations.

The immigration experts who hailed this move have said that this was a sign that proved Canada was serious about its citizenship program.

Further, the Citizenship Act that has received Royal Assent recently, is said to boost the Canada citizenship program, opined the industry experts.

Also, sources close to the high commission have mentioned that Canada is working on the citizenship program in order to reduce the backlog of citizenship applications in the next two years.

Briefing more about immigration, Canada’s citizenship and immigration minister, Chris Alexander has said that it was a matter of pride for them to invite new citizens.
