Over 27,000 New Citizens Up For Naturalization

In a major development that is likely to woo prospective US immigrants, the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that it would welcome as many as 27,000 new citizens to the country.

This move was taken in the wake of the ongoing 160 naturalization ceremonies, which kick started on 17 September (the Constitution Day of the United States of America), and would continue till 23 September, confirmed the USCIS  in a note released to the media.

Briefing more on the same, the USCIS director has said that more than 27,000 new citizens would be able to vote, volunteer and participate in the issues that are important to them and their sections.

Several volunteer bodies, which have lauded the initiative, have come up with reports that stress as to how naturalization can shoot up the wages of noted immigrants from eight per cent to 11 per cent.

All in all it’s a good move, which has been receiving thumping response from the immigration experts across the globe.
