The New Canada Express Entry Program To Remove The Caps For Food Service Workers

The Canadian restaurants are looking forward to the Canada’s government new express entry program which is going to be opened on January 1, to fill in the labor shortage gaps in foodservice.

Through the express entry program the labors can work legally in the country. The express entry program is a new e-visa which manages the applicants for permanent residency under certain programs.

The applicants can fill their online profile and then certain applicants are called to apply for permanent residency and process their e-visa within six months.

Presently, the food managers and cooks do not fall under the Canada experience class and they are capped in the stream of Canada federal trades. Through express entry the caps to these streams will be removed.

Candidates such as chefs, cooks and food managers looking for an entry to Canada will be evaluated based on their

• Skills
• Education
• Work experience
• Language

Candidate can get a guarantee permanent residency if they hold a valid job offer from a Canadian employer.
