Across 100 Nations, Thousands Become New Citizens In Australia

The diversity which makes the Australian population has been shown in the year 2015, ceremonies of  Citizenship Day of Australia, which had above 3,500 individuals from 108 nations undertaking Pledge.

As per the figures from DIBP (DIBP) we find above 80 ceremonies taking place, all over the nation.

Annually, Citizenship of Australia is celebrated on 17^th September, this helps in arising, community awareness and helps to know meaning  as well as value of  Citizenship, said Peter Dutton,
Minister for Australian immigration and Citizenship, while congratulating all those new citizens who have pledged their commitment as well as loyalty to the Australia nation.

At the government house in special ceremony, the minister spoke to new citizens of Canberra, about 35 individuals conferred by Sir Peter Cosgrove, Governor General.

Dutton added, Australian citizenship should not be celebrated by new citizens alone, but this day should be celebrated by  almost all  Australians to reconfirm their  Commitment to Australia.

On this day,  whole of  Australian community, should reflect the true meaning of Australian Citizen. 

Dutton added now, it is crucial to pause as well as reflect on the values as well as responsibilities and also privileges it shares through bond which help in unifying the Australian Citizenship.

We find more than 4.52 million have become citizens of Australia since introduction in 1949.
