Canada Rolls Out Online Visit Visa Scheme For India And Brazil

In a giant leap, the Canadian Government has rolled out a new pilot program that will fasten up the visit visa processing time for Indian and Brazilian nationals.

The Canadian high commission has recently revealed this information to the press. It has mentioned that the pilot project would facilitate the nationals of these two countries to apply for visit visas online rather than approaching the visit visa immigration counters in person.

It may be noted that a large number of tourists from India and Brazil flock to various immigration centers for visit visas. Canada reportedly came under criticism for the delayed processing of visit visas.

Although Canada rolled out this exclusive program, it would be applicable to only those who visited Canada at least once (on visit visa) in the past ten years and that too without any criminal records.

The Canadian high commission has said that the turn- around time for online visit visa is five days.
