Canadian Immigration Minister Launches Of CAN Program For Indian Travelers

Chris Alexander, Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister, has announced the start of CAN+ program in India which will facilitate efficient organization for Indian visitors entering Canada.

CAN+ program is available to Indian nationals who have travelled to the United States of America or Canada in less than previous ten years. The program quickens processing for these travelers. Thus, it is expected to allow visa officers to focus on other cases resulting in improved overall processing times for Indian travelers.

During an event , the minister focused on number of accomplished initiatives of the government that have caused an increase in trade and travel to Canada from India, which includes 10 visa application centers, three Visa “Express” programs for tourists, students and businesspeople and an established multiple entry visa at a decreased cost of CAD $100.

Chris Alexander said that the Canadian government is committed to assist in trade and travel for worthy businessperson and visitors who play an active part in the growth of Canadian economy and expressed happiness to officially start CAN+ program in India to help Indians to travel to Canada to visit friends and family and do business in an easy and quick way.
