Changes To Australian Visa Fee; Effective From July 1st, 2013

New visa pricing arrangements announced by Department of Immigration and Citizenship would be effective from 1^st July, 2013.

DIAC has decided to include “per-person” charge for each family member included in a visa application.

Other changes to visa fee structure are:

Applicant in Australia or outside Australia has to pay revised visa fee for subclass 189, subclass 190 & subclass 489

1st Installment: A$3,060
2nd Installment: A$4250

Additional Applicant Charge (18 and over): A$1530

Additional Applicant Charge (Under 18): A$765

DIAC has also announced that it’s eLodgement systems will go offline from late June 28 to early July 1 to update their IT systems before the pricing changes come into effect.
