Dream Of Canada Immigration Under 'express Entry' Is Just A Few Months Away

Canada is all set to launch new 'express entry' program on January 2015. The dream of Canada immigration is just a few months away for Indians and other country nationals. Indians with precise skills, work experience and educational can migrate to Canada after few months.

The Canada immigration process for individuals in the senior management post holding experience in various sectors and global exposure would be in a faster pace, considering that it would be linked to the job needs of the country.

'Express entry' program is similar to New Zealand's point-based system and Australia's SkillSelect, which processes the visa applications actively rather than passively.

At the conference in Regina, Canada, Chris Alexander, Canada’s citizenship and immigration minister, has elucidated that the new system process will be concentrated on Canada’s job market rather than first-come, first-served, process.

Canada also follows the 'expression of interest' from 2015, which is equivalent to New Zealand and Australia and skilled immigration types, where an applicant needs to be invited to apply based on specific selection criteria.

In a visit to Delhi, the minister illustrated that express entry system would aid qualified skilled applicants related to economic and business migrant categories to obtain their papers processed less than six months.  

Applicants need to submit ‘expression of interest' to the government of Canada under the express entry program. The information and resume details of the applicants are entered and stored in the database. Canadian employers who seek overseas skilled employees would have to access information from the database, which enables them to hire suitable applicants. If employers in Canada can’t find a Canadian to take up the job subsequent to labor market impact assessment, they can visit Citizenship & Immigration Canada (CIC) database and seek candidates in India or anywhere across the world can create a job offer.

Individuals with valid job offers will be given more priority by inviting to apply for Canada permanent residency.

Express entry program includes all current Canada's skilled immigration programs such as federal skilled worker program (FSWP), federal skilled trades program (FSTP) and the Canadian experience class.

The main idea behind the scheme is to enable the government of Canada to pick the best candidates who apparently succeed in Canada, according to the Canada Citizenship and Immigration (CIC).

An increasing number of applicants from India are showing interest to migrate to Canada with over 33,000 immigrating in previous year. Amongst the total number of individuals, 55% were belongs to economic and business categories and the remaining comes under family reunification category.
