Exclude Foreign Students From Immigration Cuts, Says Heseltine

Former cabinet minister, Lord Heseltine said that foreign students have to be exempted from the government’s intent to reduce net immigration.

Non EU students have to be excluded from the official immigration figures of the government to refrain from the chance of harming the UK universities, he added.

Moreover, he said that students, graduated at UK universities moved to become the ambassadors of the country.

Keeping in view of huge number of students in the country enrolled in the universities of the country the former cabinet minister said that they are of huge benefit to the nation financially as well as educationally.

Visas related to study have increased by six percent by the end of March 2014, according to the recent statistics revealed by the Home office.
