For Canadian Immigration, Manitoba Reopens Skilled Worker Overseas Stream

The MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) of the skilled worker overseas stream has been reopened by the Canada Province of Manitoba from 30^th April 2015 onwards

All applicants who are eligible under one of the applications streams provided, and then they will be eligible to submit an EOI (Expression of interest)

The Eligible candidates after completing a series of questions online, they are not required to upload any supporting documentation before submission of their profile into the EOI pool

The applicant profile would be placed in a pool with other eligible candidates and the applicant would receive a score based on the answers provided by them.  Then they are offered ranks based on several factors. If the applicant is amongst the highest scoring candidates, then they may also be invited to submit their application to MPNP

There is no cap on the number of candidates who can submit EOI and also there is no deadline specified. The information offered by the applicant will help in determining whether the applicant is eligible to immigrate through the MPNP.

The expression of interest is not an application, but it is an indication of applicant’s interest to apply to the MPNP for skilled workers. All applicants must answer all EOI questions correctly. If they provide misleading or false information in the EOI, then it may be considered misrepresentation and it may be subject to a ban which would stop the candidates from submitting another EOI for a period of 2 years.

The applicant should Sign in, in order to create an Expression of Interest

The applicant should select Create Expression of interest from the options offered

They should also complete an Expression of interest and inform the province about

-Their identity

-Their contact information

-Their education, official language proficiency and work experience

-Their connection to Canada and Manitoba

Before the applicant submits an EOI, they should print a copy of the summary page which should display their answers as well as ranking points score for their record

The applicants can only have one active Expression of Interest at any given time. The applicants will be able to submit a new profile once their current Expression of Interest expires.

Applicants who have successfully submitted their Expression of Interest, does not offer any guarantee of nomination or it does offer the ability to submit, a full application to MPNP

If the applicant provides false or misleading information in their EOI, it may be considered to be misrepresentation. Their subsequent application may be refused and they may also be subject to a ban, which would prevent the applicants from applying to the MPNP for specified period.
