The Government of Saskatchewan has made a few significant changes to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). The program now has 3 new immigration categories, and each of these new immigration categories will see a number of significant changes.
The 3 categories are International Skilled Worker, Saskatchewan Experience and Entrepreneur and Farm

The following are the sub-categories in the ‘Entrepreneur and Farm’ category:
Presently, the above categories are included in the SINP Framework.
What this Means for Applicants
Saskatchewan is one of the provinces of Canada that needs skilled foreign workers the most in a variety of professions. The SINP has the opportunity to place itself as one of the most responsive and progressive PNPs (Provincial Nominee Programs) by overhauling its program.
Attorney David Cohen said that Saskatchewan has one of the most powerful provincial programs. However, this does not say anything of the strong commitment by the province to supporting immigrants on arrival. He said that by announcing these reforms, Saskatchewan is reminding again that it is fighting hard to draw in the most promising new immigrants to Canada.
Immigrants are able to make use of Saskatchewan’s many resources for newcomers regardless of how they arrive in the province. These include employment counseling, housing, free language courses and other settlement services along with a healthy dose of the Saskatchewan’s prairie hospitality!
