World’s second largest clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz AB of Sweden also known as H&M is ready to start its operation in India.
H&M would be investing huge amount in India to start its operations in the country under the FDI scheme.
“India is a booming market for fashion clothing as already demonstrated by Zara’s success in the country and it is only a matter of time before other leading global companies set up shop here,”
“H&M had serious issues with the condition to source from small companies as many do not have the capacity to service its large orders. But, now, it is happy and finalising its proposal,”
Swedish company Ikea has already got approval to invest Rs 10,000 crores in furniture stores in India. Trade and economic relations between the countries are growing strong.
