* People with alien’s (non-citizen's) passports from these countries cannot avail visa free trip.

** Visa free trip is applicable only for residents of Hong Kong who are travelling on Hong Kong Special Administrative Region or British National (Overseas) passports.

*** Portuguese passport holders should have permanent staying right on Portugal

**** Including nationals of the United States of America (USA).

***** This waiver is only for Greek passport holders who had their passports issued on and after 1 January 2006

Things to take care of while availing visa free trip in New Zealand"

• You should have travel tickets or evidence of any type of onward travel arrangements

• You should have sufficient funds to maintain and sustain yourself whilst in New Zealand.

United Kingdom and Australia:

The specific rules applied for Britons and Australians are:

• British citizens and other British passport holders need to produce documents as evidence of the right to reside permanently in the UK. These people can visit New Zealand for up to six months without a visa.

• Australian citizens and people who hold a current Australian permanent residence visa or a current Australian resident return visa have free entry to New Zealand. They do not need a New Zealand visa for short visits.
