Overview

This visa allows spouse, dependent children to come and stay with their partner in Switzerland who either has a Citizenship/Residence Permit/Work Permit.

Documents Required

• National passport valid at least 3 months beyond the date of return
• Covering letter from applicant
• A letter from the spouse requesting for a residence permit for his / her spouse
• Marriage certificate
• Original birth certificates of dependent children

Visa Features

Switzerland dependent visa holders can live, work, study & travel in the country.

Family members would be eligible to take up employment only if they register with the Cantonal Immigration and labor market authorities.

Dependents who stay continuously for 5 years in Switzerland will be granted a Settlement Permit also known as Permit C.

Children under 18 receive Settlement Permit  or Permit C directly.

Visa fee for dependents:

Adults: 5100 INR

Children Between 6 to 12 years: 3000 INR

Children below 6 years: No visa fees

Postal fee: 400 INR
