Malaysian government gives this visa to individual’s specialized in particular technical or managerial skill. Initially the validity period for this visa is two years. This visa issued to highly skilled workers, like IT professionals, teachers, doctors, engineers and nurses. Work permits have a time span ranging from Six months to Five years. This visa can be extended up to 10 years. Individuals willing to work in this part of the world, have to go through some obligations stated framed by Malaysian government. Employment Pass has significant recognition in international levels. Individuals holding the Employment Pass, will have top priority, if they want to migrate to other countries like, USA, Australia, Canada and UK. Individual willing to apply must hold a valid passport and obtain an offer letter from Malaysian Employer.

Malaysian government offers this visa to professionals employed by an overseas company and working for a company in Malaysia. Professional Visit Pass has a time limit for six months.

Employment pass given to qualified workers whose salary is less that RS 5000 per month, and is valid for two years.
To apply for a Malaysian Work Permit Individuals need to submit below documents to their employer,
- Applicants have to send scan copies of their passport to the employer
- Applicant has to send all their Educational and Experience certificates to the Malaysian employer
- Applicants after obtaining reference letter from the employer they can start the process of their work permit application.
- They need to fix two recent photographs
- Applicant has to clear a medical examination
- Applicant has to send all the documentation and medical reports to their Malaysian employer
- Malaysian employer will submit all these documents to Malaysian immigration department
- Malaysian employer will issue offer letter to applicant after they receive clearance from immigration authorities
Visa can be denied by Malaysian immigration authorities if the applicant fails to submit or satisfy obligations mentioned framed, and also if the applicant having a criminal background.
