Recently the Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that he is going to tender an official apology for the Sikhs for the Komagata Maru incident. The incident that took place in 1914, the boat carrying over 374 Sikh immigrants to the United States was not allowed to enter the Canada. This incident sparked a row internationally; however the Canada Government has planned to come clean on the issue.

The incident happened 102 years ago, the Justin agreed to apologize for the incident in the House of Commons.
