Canada is the largest country in the world geographically and least populated. The population density in most of the provinces is very low, and the Canadian provinces equally demand Federal Government for creating favorable conditions for immigration. All the Canadian provinces have a good number of migrant people but, when it comes to the Atlantic Canada, there is no progress and no migrant population. It has become imperative for all the provinces to welcome migrant population for development.

Canada needs the migrant population, who becomes an asset to the economy, rather than being a burden. Skilled professionals offered various immigration programs.

The Atlantic region of the Canada attracts only 2.5 percent of the migrant population Canada. There is a significant imbalance in the development of the nation. The Prince Edward Land is the least populated province; the grave concern is the aging population and the low birth rate. There is an urgency to welcome the migration lawfully.  Before 2008, the country has welcomed immigration, but there was no use, as the migrant population was not skillful and faced difficulty in finding jobs.

The streamlined visa processing included point based system, which has become popular and bringing the most refined talent to the country. The new liberal government which has come to power in November 2015 has also promised to increase the migrant population through, doubling the family unification programs and visa free travel to Mexicans. There are high expectations from the provinces to fulfill the missing gaps through all means.
