Canada Immigration recently announced the changes to citizenship law; the new law allows permanent residents to apply for the Canada citizenship, with only single language proficiency either French or English. The new norm allows the permanent residents to apply for the Citizenship after three complete years stay in Canada in five years. Earlier it was four years out of six years. One year has been relaxed.

The international students time spent in Canada during their education will be considered for the Citizenship. Suppose the student spends two years in Canada for education, then, one year will be considered as the real time applicable for the Canada Citizenship.

Recently, a new immigration program for French Speaking professionals living outside Quebec Province of Canada was announced by the Federal Government. Immigration has become imperative and important for the holistic growth of Canada. Canada is also considering mitigating the processing times for the different visas.
