The United States the H-1B visa program allows the United States to hire the foreign nationals in different occupations such as physicians, engineers, accountants and other professions. But, the technology sector of the United States dominated in taking the 90 percent of the H1B visas.

The demand for the software professionals in the United States is very high, the fascination and the dream of settling in the North American country also help skilled professionals. The technology sector receives highest number of approvals too.

Since 2004, the United States started granting 85000 H1B visas, in which 20 000 goes to the US advanced degree holders. In the last three years, the United States has seen record number of applications; Indians are the highest recipients of the H1B visas. India has taken the largest share of the H1B visas, since the visa program began in 1990.

Indian IT giants Wipro, TCS, Infosys and other countries annually submit thousands of applications for the H1B visas. The visa holders will be highly paid for their role played in the United States on behalf of the company.  The US based technology companies also file large number of applications, this year they have filed over 8 percent of applications for H1B visas.

The technology sector is highly influential in the United States as well as in India. India is the largest provider of software professionals, students and investors in the United States. The Indian students are the highest in joining the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics study program.

Indian Diaspora is one of the largest communities that influence the economy of the United States. The ant-immigrant rhetoric has shown negligible impact on Indian movement to the highly developed country.

When it comes to India, people are deeply connected to the United States. People prey at temples for the US visa, there is a temple in the Hyderabad city where people strongly believe that if they offer prayer at the temple, their wish to get the visa fulfilled.

Indian connection to the United States is much deeper, nothing can confine the Indians from moving to the United States.
