60,000 Job Vacancies Available In Regional Areas Of Australia

The federal government in Australia today has a plan to attract migrants. The reason here is supporting the regions which search for talented people and seek workers to take up those jobs. Yet another reason is removing the rush away from the cities, and also to ease the pressure from Melbourne and Sydney. These facts were stated by Alan Tudge, the Minister for Cities, and Urban Infrastructure. Both of these cities are growing fast.
New regional visas
The Government decreased the numbers in permanent visas it gives every year. Moreover, there was an announcement regarding new skilled visas for regional areas that are restricted geographically. Furthermore, some experts are afraid that the path to get permanent residency on temporary visas will be tough after these measures.
In March 2019, the government announced the introduction of two regional visas in November 2019. These will seek the compliance of
skilled workers for living outside major cities for three years as a condition to obtain permanent residency.
The immigrants can stay in Adelaide/Melbourne after their stay in these designated areas for three years. After that, they can obtain a permanent residency. Fewer migrants will opt for staying in the big cities after they reside in the in regional areas. The minister also stated that there are thousands of vacant jobs in regional areas. Today, this figure is 60,000 among the job vacancies.
Endorsing the right candidates
Moreover, commenting on the high volume of non-endorsements of candidates this year, he stated that this matter needs a review. It also needs a look in the future. The candidates, who do not live up to specific standards and values, have to be identified before they are not endorsed. There are a few candidates who have not lived up to the expectations of their parties he added.
