99,417 Vacancies In UK IT Sector

Recent report states that UK jobs market for techies was up by end of 2012 and the trend continues. Most of the IT jobs were in well-paying financial IT sector.

Permanent IT jobs which were advertised in UK went up by 6% in last 3 months of 2012. A total of 99,417 vacancies were advertised from October to December 0f 2012. 15,731 jobs advertised were from financial sector only. Jobs at software companies were 64% of the total vacancies.

The skills in demand were database language SQL, C# and C, .NET, Java,  JavaScript and SQL Server languages expertise.
