CELPIP English Examination Available In India Also

The CELPIP English Exam, which has acceptance as an English test for Canadian immigration, is presently available in India.  The first beneficiary is Chandigarh.

This is an alternate test to the IELTS Examination for residents of India. After adding India, the availability of CELPIP now spans the USA, Canada, India, the Philippines, and the UAE.

ENGLISH EXAMS FOR CANADIAN IMMIGRATION

Any immigration aspirant to Canada in the Express Entry system has to provide an evidence of proficiency in French or English. Moreover, as a measure of proficiency in English language, the government in Canada will accept two tests which are the CELPIP General Exam and the IELTS General Exam.

All the aspirants of principal applicants in the F.S.W. and C.E.C. of Express Entry must have a language test score that is equal to the Canadian Language Benchmark of Level 7.

Both these tests offer no distinct advantages to over one another. The relative advantage is that prospective immigrants can use the availability of the CELPIP at many locations. Presently owing to a high demand there is a great difficulty for registering in the IELTS. 

CELPIP IN INDIA

The CELPIP originally available only in Canada has spread to other parts of the world. During the last two years, it is on offer in such countries which have a high rate of immigration to Canada.
