Manitoba Immigration issued 193 invitations to candidates to appeal for a nomination from the province for Canada PR in a draw that took place on 10 October.
Those invited had a profile enrolled beneath Manitoba’s Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education or Skilled Worker Overseas Stream.
Manitoba has presently announced 6,574 Letters of Advice to Appeal (L.A.As) this year to immigration applicants with these pathways.
Out of the 193 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) announced on 10 Oct draw 24 given to candidates with a strong profile in the Express Entry system.
Applicants who qualify for the pool of Express Entry are given a rank that depends on the CRS score that recognizes human capital parameters like age, education, language proficiency, and work experience.
The top-scoring applicants are invited to apply for Canadian PR through frequent draws from the pool of Federal Express Entry.
To be counted for a nomination from the Manitoba province, Express Entry applicants must have suitable work experience in one of Manitoba’s in-demand professions, along with other requirements, and submit an expression of interest with the Manitoba PNP.
A sum of 147 L.A.As went to appellants with an E.O.I in Skilled Worker in Manitoba Category, which gives Canada PR pathway for suitable temporary international workers in the province and global graduates of post-secondary institutes in Manitoba.
To be considered, applicants need to be working in Manitoba province and have a full-time, permanent employment offer from their firm, among additional criteria.
Skilled worker EOIs are awarded a score out of 1,000 and the top-ranked are announced LAAs. The last ranked score Skilled Worker in Manitoba applicant has chosen in the 10 Oct draw has secured 567.
22 LAAs have given to appellants in the Category of Skilled Worker Overseas. Applicants selected below this category were invited straight through an Initiative Strategic Recruitment, which able to include abroad recruitment missions managed by the Manitoba P.N.P, often in partnership with Manitoba firms.
Applicants for this stream are also listed as per the Manitoba’s EOI scoring system. Skilled Worker Overseas applicants demanded a score of 718 and higher to be suitable for an LAA in the EOI draw that took place on 10 October.
Under the International Education Stream, Manitoba graduates with special in-demand skills may get Invitations.
It comprises 3 sub-categories: Student Entrepreneur Pathway, Career Employment Pathway, and Graduate Internship Pathway.
The Manitoba P.N.P sent out 24 LAAs to IES candidates in the recent draw. EOI minimum required score was not provided.
