Manitoba PNP Draw: Issues 173 Invitations To Skilled Worker Candidates

The latest draw by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program conducted on 18 July 2019 invited 173 skilled worker applicants to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (M.P.N.P.) enables the Manitoba province to choose economic-class immigration applicants for permanent residence in Canada.

The invitations, identified as Letters of Advice to Appeal (L.A.A.s), were announced through 3 M.P.N.P. immigration streams: International Education, Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba.

The L.A.A.s were classified as below in the 18 July draw:

• International Education: 23
• Skilled Workers Overseas: 40
• Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 110

The M.P.N.P. told 29 of the invitations announced were given to appellants with an active profile in the Express Entry system.

Federal Express Entry is Canada’s primary source of highly skilled global talent. The system controls the pool of aspirants for Canada’s three major economic-class immigration programs

• Federal Skilled Trades Class
• Federal Skilled Worker Class
• Canadian Experience Class

Federal Express Entry appellants with a nomination from the Canadian province will benefit from a supplementary 600 points via their CRS ranking score, which efficiently guarantees an invitation from the Canadian Government to appeal for Canada PR.

The 40 Skilled Workers Overseas applicants invited in the draw conducted on 18 July were invited directly by the M.P.N.P. below the Initiative of Strategic Recruitment, the M.P.N.P. told.

The completion of an EOI is the initial step for most M.P.N.P. sub-streams of the skilled worker. An E.O.I needs applicants to enter details about their educational qualification, knowledge in English or French, skilled work experience, and links to Manitoba, among other details and grants a score depends on the answers.

Through Regular draws, Manitoba invites appellants with the greatest scores from the EOI pool of Manitoba.

The least score needed for an L.A.A. in Manitoba’s 18 July draw was:

• Skilled Workers Overseas through the Initiative of Strategic Recruitment: 718
• Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 539

The draw brings the comprehensive number of Letters of Advice to Appeal declared to skilled worker immigration applicants in the present year 2019 to 5,506.
