Ontario PNP Draw Held On 3rd June Issues Invitations To 699 Express Entry Applicants

Ontario province invited Express Entry applicants with work experience in one of 9 professions to apply for an Ontario provincial nomination on 3 June 2020.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee (O.I.N.P) Program draw invited applicants who may be qualified for the Express Entry Human Capital (HCP) Priorities Stream.

Applicants with relevant work experience in the below 9 professions were announced with Notifications of Interest (N.O.Is) in the most recent invitation round:

• Dieticians and nutritionists (NOC 3132)
• Other primary health practitioners (NOC 3124)
• Enrolled nurses and enrolled psychiatric nurses (NOC 3012)
• Professional professions in business management consulting (NOC 1122)
• Other financial officers (NOC 1114)
• Financial auditors and accountants (NOC 1111)
• Marketing, advertising, and public relations managers (0124)
• Other administrative services managers (0114)
• Financial managers (NOC 0111)

Express Entry applicants who had a minimum of one year of relevant work experience in Canada required a Comprehensive Ranking (CRS) System score between 358 and 439 to obtain an invitation from the province of Ontario. A sum of 167 NOIs was given to applicants with Canadian work experience.

Most of the invitations to apply were given to applicants who had overseas work experience. A sum of 532 of the invited applicants did the expected work experience globally. These applicants required CRS scores within 471 and 500.

To be invited, applicants first required to have profiles in the pool of federal Express Entry system.

Express Entry handles the 3 federal immigration programs applications: Federal Skilled Workers (F.S.W.P) Program, Federal Skilled Trades (F.S.T.P) Program, and Canadian Experience Class (C.E.C).

Applicants are given points based on several human capital factors like age, level of education, work experience, and language ability.

Ontario province is allowed to nominate 7,600 primary applicants in the current year. It comprises 250 nominations for temporary immigrant workers in intermediate skilled professions or National Occupational (NOC) Classification skill level C.

In 2019 above 50 percent of Ontario PNP’s 7,391 provincial nominees were Federal Express Entry applicants.
