At Record Rate, International Students Have Flocked To Germany

In record numbers, International students are coming to Germany. As per the report released by the Education Ministry on Wednesday, it  has revealed that two nations, UK and USA are more attractive destination for study.

The study named, “open minded Academia 2015”  has revealed that In 2014, the number of foreign students in Germany broke the 300,000 mark for the first time.

Nearing 301,350 foreign students are presently pursuing degree and roughly we find every tenth student in Germany is from abroad.

As per the reports of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), there has been 7% rise in 2013, thus makes the government target of 350,000 foreign students by 2020 seem more plausible.

Johanna Wanka in a statement, added that there exist no better proofs for the international appeal of the higher education system.

We find almost half of the foreign students have come other European nations, with Russian being the most common European nationality.

But we find the number of Asian Students has also risen dramatically, both India and China have been playing an ever more important.

China is the nation from which most non German students have been originated ,  about  28,000 of the total.
