Replacing 457 Visa with 482 Visa
The Temporary Skill Shortage 482 visa was launched from the 18 March 2018 substituting the subclass 457 visa.
The subclass 482 visa is the visa to take the position of the
subclass 457 visa, which is no longer being given. The TSS has several features in common with the subclass 457 visa like TSMIT, Market Salary and also many differences like the short term and long term list, SAF.

You can meet the visa requirements of permanent employer-sponsored, which are not possible to 2-year T.S.S visa holders.
