Two weeks ago, Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) opened its subcategory International Skilled Worker again for another 500 applications. It caught people unawares as there no intimation of reopening this sub-category. The jobs in-demand list contained new occupations including IT, management, engineering, health care, agriculture, and trades.
SINP International Skilled Worker program is a subcategory of Saskatchewan Express Entry. However, within 24 hours of the announcement, all the 500 slots were filled. Since its introduction in June 2015, SINP’s International Skilled Worker Program opened up for intake six times and twice from the start of 2016.
If candidates have already got into the Express Entry Pool and have all their documents ready to go, then they can submit their application quickly and procure their visas. They also have to keep looking for sudden announcements without prior notice on the immigration’s bulletin boards. Even if their respective occupations are not listed currently, there is a possibility of being added into the next one.
While the status of this program is that it reached the maximum number of applications for 2016, there is a possibility that it might open up later this year.
