Invitation Rounds Held For Subclass 189 And 489 Visas

Based on the updates from Immigration Authorities, in Australia invitations for Skilled Independent Professionals (Subclass 189) and Skilled Regional Professionals (Provisional) (Subclass 489) visa were sent on Feb 7th. The occasion marks the first invitation round for February and the second round is likely to be held soon.

Prior to this, such around for skilled visa categories was held on Jan 18th, 2018 where 300 invitations were issued for Skilled  Independent (subclass 189) visa while five were issued for Skilled Regional Provisional (subclass 489) visa.

In the round held on Dec 6^th, 2017 for these visa categories, 300 Invitations were granted for the Skilled Independent (Subclass 189) and five were issued for Skilled Regional (Provisional) (Subclass 489).

The number of invitations, issued in each round, is likely to change as per the total applications received by the immigration department of Australia. 7^th Feb 2018 was the date for the next round of invitation, in these visa categories, and many applicants eagerly wait for the announcement of results.

The immigration authorities have also notified that the invitation rounds for subclass 189 subclass 489 visa categories will be conducted on two occasions during a month. Its dates are likely to change, and an update on it will be issued when it is received.
