Manitoba announced a record 5,207 nominations for Canadian PR in 2018, with 98% going to skilled worker applicants.
Recently released figures from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (M.P.N.P) reveal that 5,119 nominations went to applicants in the Skilled Worker Overseas and Skilled Worker in Manitoba immigration streams in the year 2018.
The outlasting 88 nominations went to applicants in the Stream of Manitoba Business Investor.
The nominations for skilled workers announced by the M.P.N.P in the year 2018 cut down as below:

Of the selected 5,119 skilled worker applicants in 2018, 79% (4,101) had a job offer from an employer in Manitoba. The M.P.N.P said this was an improvement of 51.2% over 2017.
The M.P.N.P also set a record in the year 2018 for the nominees' number who finished post-secondary education in Manitoba, which attained at 1,923. Where in 2017 the number was only about 1,292.
Foreign graduates in Manitoba are the priority of the M.P.N.P’s new Stream of International Education, which gives quicker pathways to PR for foreign graduates of Manitoba post-secondary colleges with skills needed by organizations in the province.
