Manitoba Provincial Program: Issues 6,157 LAAs For Canada PR In 2019

The latest draw held on 12 September 2019 by the Manitoba PNP and issued 347 invitations to skilled international workers and global graduates to apply for a nomination from the province for Canada PR.

A sum of 6,157 LAAs has now been announced in 2019 by these three pathways of immigration.

Express Entry Invitations

In the 347 invitations announced on 12 September 2019, 45 went to applicants with a valid profile in the pool of Express Entry program.

Express Entry operates the pool of appellants for Canada's three Highly Skilled categories for economic immigration — the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class.

To be recognized for a nomination from the province for Canadian PR from Manitoba, Express Entry aspirants must have suitable work experience in a profession that is listed as high demand by the Manitoba PNP, along with other requirements.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba

The draw held on 12 September 2019 announced a sum of 254 LAAs to applicants in the Category Skilled Worker in Manitoba, which gives a Canada PR pathway for temporary immigrant workers and global student graduates who are presently working in Manitoba province and have an acceptable full-time job offer, permanent job from their company, along with other criteria.

Manitoba’s skilled worker classes run on the basis of Expression of Interest (EOI). To be counted for an LAA, candidates need to create an online profile and present the necessary information on their education, age, skilled work experience and skill in English or French, with other factors.

The profiles of suitable candidates are assigned a score out of 1,000 and put in the Manitoba PNP’s EOI pool.

The weakest ranked Skilled Worker in Manitoba applicant invited in the 12 September 2019 draw secured a score of 545.

Skilled Worker Overseas

Another 53 LAAs were announced by the Manitoba PNP’s Category Skilled Worker Overseas.

All applicants were invited straight through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, that include global recruitment missions directed by the Manitoba PNP in alliance with Manitoba businesses.

The weakest ranked Skilled Worker Overseas applicant in the 12 September 2019 draw secured a score of 706.

International Education Stream

This stream is for Manitoba graduates with the expertise demanded by the province’s labor market requirements.

• Career Employment Pathway
• Graduate Internship Pathway

The Manitoba PNP announced 40 LAAs to International Education Stream applicants in the draw held on September 12.
