Multiple Immigration Draws : Ontario Seeks French Speakers

Since May 2018,  Ontario Province has conducted nine draws and has also issued notifications of interest to 277 candidates in the stream of Express Entry French Speaking Skilled Workers.

The OINP has issued 931 notifications of interest under the FSSW stream during the present year. Moreover it has no requirement of a minimum score.

The Requirements for Ontario EE French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream

The qualification norms for the applicants are:

• A Pending application in the Federal EE system;
• One year of full time, or equivalent work experience under NOC occupation;
• Canadian equivalent Bachelors, Masters degree or PhD;
• Minimum CLB level 7 in TEF exam or minimum CLB 6 in IELTS exam
• Willing to reside in Ontario.

The OINP began to publish details regarding specific draws at the beginning of 2018. So far there were 26 French Speaking Skilled Worker draws in the present year.

Ontario also held several draws for Skilled Trades, Human Capital Priorities, and Entrepreneur Stream in 2018.

Moreover, the OINP has an enhanced allocation of 6,600 nominations by the federal government for 2018. The province is presently accepting applications for these immigration streams.
