Effective 9th December, 2013, the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is going forward with the revised Fee structure for Indians. The new fee structure is applicable to all Temporary Resident Visas to Canada including Visit Visas, Work Permits, Study Permits and Returning Canadian Permanent Residents.
The visa fee is payable in cash with the currency being Indian Rupee or by bank draft in favor of ‘Canadian High Commission’, or ‘Receiver General for Canada’ (which can be in INR or CAD) payable at New Delhi.
Mentioned below are the new fees for Temporary Resident Visas (TRV):
Visitor Visas to Canada:
Canadian Work Permit:
Other than the Visitor Visa, Super Visa and Work Permit, there are a few other Visas that are undergoing the Fees revision which are mentioned here:
Except in the case of group applications (entertainment groups or a family applying at the same place and time) all the Fees mentioned above are per applicant, including children.
Please note that once paid, visa fees and other charges, are non-refundable even in the case of withdrawal or refusal of the application.
Also, note that visa fee is subject to change without prior notice. So, please refer to the CIC Website or a trusted Visa/Immigration Consultant for confirmation before payment.
