The applicants in the Canada’s Express Entry pool now have another probable option to obtain a provincial nomination certificate, under the two categories of ‘Nova Scotia Demand’: Express Entry stream having opened for new applications. Nova Scotia Demand opened for the two streams last week. The Nova Scotia’s PNP program has gained its popularity as the most sought after immigration destination over recent years in Canada.
However, proximately after the opening, the intake under Category B of the stream (for eligible candidates devoid of a job offer) was stopped. While speaking with the CICNews, a staff member of the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration stated that ‘this was possible because of the online application structure was undergoing technical difficulties. Once these issues have been overcome, it is likely that candidates will be able to submit their application.’
Through Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) the government of Nova Scotia welcomes the new PR holders who have the capacity to settle down in the province.
Applicants who successfully received their applications under the PNP scheme will be awarded 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System points and will be issued with an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in the upcoming draw from the pool.
During the newest application intake, the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) has announced that it will accept approximately 250 new applications under the Category B of the stream. The category B is for the candidates with understanding in one of the 16 available occupations.
