Immigration minister of Canada has declared an additional 2,000 places for intermediate-skilled workers beneath the Provincial Nominee Program.
Ahmed Hussen states the positions below the NOC “C” are focused on improving chances for temporary foreign workers to get the Canadian PR. Hussen announced through the press of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on Mar 12, 2019.
Temporary foreign workers can fulfill long-term labor market requirements and provide their contribution to the Canadian economic growth, Hussen told. Canada understands the necessity to give chances for them to get Canadian PR – and these extra spaces below the Provincial Nominee Program will support that.
All of the Canadian territories and provinces outside of Quebec run streams of immigration by the Provincial Nominee Program. The PNP is intended to assist local administrators to answer the labor market needs in the way programs of federal immigration cannot.
An I.R.C.C statement announced: We are dedicated to giving foreign workers, in specific, those fulfilling long-term labor market demands and who have well integrated into the society of Canada, with increased pathways to permanent residency.
The federal government considers applicants who are now in Canada on work permits, by programs along with the International Mobility Program and Temporary Foreign Worker Program, can be instantly integrated as permanent residents.
They are here at present, have an understanding of the Canadian society and have Canadian work experience.
