To be qualified for Partner Migration, you have to either be married, affianced to (ordinary law) association with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or qualified New Zealand citizen.

You Have To:

•   Be over 18 years of age and your association with your spouse has to be authentic and progressing.
•   Wedded have to live simultaneously and prove a communal devotion to a joint life as one.
•   Couple who are affianced have to maintain true objective to get married and live as one as partner.

You will be accepted to show the natural history of your association by providing a range of records. The DIAC can ask for you and your spouse to be present at an conference. Your Australian partner has to agree to support you and give a legal responsibility to hold up you throughout your initial 2 years in Australia.

In General, for this kind of proposals the partner visa is a two stage process. While applying for provisional and permanent visa your application process will take some time once, your documents is processed you will be granted a provisional visa which is valid unless you take decision for you permanent visa application. The beauty of this visa is if you meet all the lawful requirements then you will be approved or given a status of (subclass 100) partner visa. Generally, this is possible after your arrival in Australia.
