You perhaps have to show or submit standard documents that are needed in your region of birth, which must be compulsorily translated in to English if; it is not printed in English.  If you have documents like birth, marriage certificate you also required to provide these too to obtain civil status. In most cases, many people show their entire family status like details of parents and others. All the documents which you carry need to be translated into English.
While submitting make sure you are carrying all the valid documents which are required and ensure all the copies are of high quality.
