Title: Is green card 'midlertidig opholdstilladelse mmf varigt ophold'?
Post by: zucca on July 12, 2012, 06:49:58 PM
Is residence based on a granted green card regarded as a temporary residence permit that can be upgraded to a permanent one ('midlertidig opholdstilladelse mmf varigt ophold'). In particular, I was wondering if I hold the green card visa, I´m eligible to study e.g. shorter education programs (a course or two at CBS) for free, or I would still need to pay for education.

Thank you in advance.

The Greencard scheme is route to Denmark PR. Once can work in Denmark under this scheme and subsequently apply for PR after a continuous stay of 3 years (as per updated rules).

Denmark Greencard Scheme only allows the visa holder to work in Denmark. However, the dependent spouse of visa holder can study in Denmark (http://settleindenmark.com/immigration/study-in-denmark).
