We re leaving in South Africa for the past 4 years, we would like to invites our relatives for occasional visit so, I would to know how much will it cost to Apply South Africa Relatives Visa, what is the time period, eligibility and documents required.

My grandma is around 70 years old.  Do I need to take her to Consulate in person

Certainly No! You need complete the whole process and send via DHL Courier without any hassles; you must enclose all the required documents before submitting your application. Also, there is a statement that you must include envelope so that if any misalignment or if your visa is approved you will receive your passport with that envelope or else it will be delivered with normal South African post.
However, you need to come to interview as it is a very strict rule of South African Government.
