The high commission of Canada announced that the start-ups are discovering opportunities in India to scale up their business.
The minister of International Trade of Canada, Ed Fast, has actively encouraged government’s program referred as CTA@India to associate with Indian entrepreneurs to advance the technology and business.
Reportedly, this is a four-month virtual accelerator program, which is designed to help Canadian start-up tech firms that are interested to explore opportunities in India to develop their business.
Sources said that the CTA@India will help Canadian start-ups to move strongly in the Indian market and encourages the Indian innovation ecosystem by working with talented Indian start-ups and linking them with Canadian marketing, partnering and mentoring opportunities that help them to develop their businesses.
Apparently, Canada’s start-up visa program is assisting high-potential entrepreneurs who are supported by Indian investors to establish a firm and nurture market opportunities in both nations.
The statement said that India is a priority market under Global Markets Action of Canada. It also said that this is minister fast’s third trade mission to India in support of the Canadian government’s pro-trade plan.
