As the Cricket World Cup 2015 is approaching, TTF (Transport Forum Australia) and TIA (Tourism Industry Association New Zealand) have organized a joint campaign in order to simplify the requirements of the visa for the cricket fans. At present, the cricket fans, who are planning to attend ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, would be granted an entry in to New Zealand and Australia on a single visa.
TTF chief executive, Ken Morrison has said that the above stated information means that the cricket fans would only have to obtain a single visa for the purpose of seeing the cricket games that would take place in Australia and New Zealand .This would result in attaining the visa by a cheaper and simpler means and also would encourage more number of visitors to come to Australia as well as New Zealand, which in turn would benefit the tourism sectors of both the countries
TIA’s research manager, Simon Wallace, has said that New Zealand and Australian would share a common visa for the entry and the duration of the cricket tournament. This would result in the visitors coming from countries such as Pakistan and India to apply and finance for a single visa instead of two, which also means that they would have to go through a single visa process that would reduce inconvenience and save time for all the willing and eager people.
