The Australian Government relocation scheme benefits allured almost 150 individuals that offer financial aid up to $9,000 to move for employment, with most residing in their native land.
A total of 145 people have accessed the assistance of relocation to engage in job, since 1 July 2014 that offers individuals who have been jobless and on benefits for a minimum period of 12 months, which helps them by providing relocation costs, if individuals move to an eligible area.
The Australian assistant minister for employment, Luke Hartsuyker, said in a statement that he applaud jobseekers, who have found employment and supports all the eligible jobseekers to make use of relocation assistance that helps them in their moving costs to engage in an employment.
People without job who relocate to regional area for employment can access a maximum of $6,000 in financial aid. Relocating to a metropolitan city with a minimum unemployment rate than the individuals place of origin entice a lesser package of $3,000, however, in both categories individuals relocating with a family are qualified for an extra $3,000.
An individual can get aid if the new job needs them to relocate for a minimum of 90 minutes far from their residency.
The CEO of job assistance company, Sarina Russo, said to a leading news channel that jobseekers who are been jobless for a period of 12 months will get a chance to extend their job search to various parts of the nation.
The individuals who got assistance from Russo’s firm moved from Victoria to Tasmania, and some of them moved from Queensland to Canberra for the post with army.
As per the Luke Hartsuyker, 69% of all relocations have been to a regional area. It has been observed that the large number of relocations happened within Queensland, i.e. 26 out of 43.
The statistics demonstrated that 30 individuals accessed the program from New South Wales (NSW), 27 are from Victoria, 19 are from South Australia, nine are from Tasmania and six are from Western Australia (WA).
Till date, none of them left the Northern Territory, however, 15 individuals relocated there from across Australia.
