Melbourne Placed In The Second Slot In The Field Of Education

For students who wish to study overseas, Melbourne in Australia is the apt destination as it holds the second rank world-wide when it comes to education. Sydney is close at heels, with the number fourth position. According to a list of the Top 50 Best Cities for students, Australian universities are regarded highly by overseas students. This list comprises of four other Australian universities which are located in Canberra, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.

The QS Top Universities List has placed Paris on top. Next is Melbourne in the list, with seven universities. Being rightly called the cultural capital of Australia, Melbourne offers a spectacular lifestyle with various cultural activities all throughout the year. Melbourne brags about the highest record of students of mixed origin and background as well as being the hub of employer activity. The scenic natural beauty and high living standards make Melbourne an upbeat city.

Higher education visa applications have gone up by 19.7 percent since the previous financial year. The highest number of applications comes from China while both China and India together comprise of 32 percent of all student visa applications.
