Leading Brexit Supporters described plans to introduce a point based system of immigration for the United Kingdom if the people favor the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union on June 23, referendum.

A new plan that will contain the movement of nationals from the European Union, the immigration system which is streamlined will ensure that it fulfills the labor market of the United Kingdom.

Immigrants who come to the United Kingdom will require skills; the supporters opined that the new system will be similar to that of the point based Australian and Canadian system of Immigration.

A fair policy that will ensure equal treatment to foreign nationals including the European Citizens, the new regime will not discriminate nationality; doors will be open to the individuals who are qualified enough to work in the UK with skills. The skills and abilities will decide people’s entry into the United Kingdom.

To gain the eligibility to work in the world’s advanced economy one has to have skills necessary to work in the UK industries. All those who come to the United Kingdom must be proficient enough in the English language.

The system will be planned in such a way to make the immigration procedures simple and fast. The attempt is to make it less red tape, and less bureaucratic. The economic immigration programs are meant to fill the labor shortages of the industries. The UK largely depends on India for skilled immigrants; the healthcare industry has recently made an agreement for importing the doctors.
