Australia To Implement Immigration Reforms In Three Stages

Australia Immigration will introduce significant changes to bring productive talent to the United States. The improvements to the point based immigration system will be introduced in three stages. Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said that Australia would invest one billion Australian dollars to revamp the system and encourage highly efficient professionals to its industries.

The immigration procedures will also support the families of the skilled professionals to study and work in Australia.

Understanding the problems associated with the current system began in the 2014, when a short term 12 month mobility visa to hire foreign nationals without the procedures that apply for the subclass 457. However, the plan was dropped after opposition from the different sections of the labor Unions.

As part of the consultation process with the Australian Immigration, the productivity commission suggested the development of the procedures to make the immigration procedure competitive to hire highly qualified professionals into its industries. The student immigration is also ready to undergo the major changes; Australia Immigration department announced only two visa programs, by revamping the 8 visa programs making it easy for the international students.
