British Columbia Tech Pilot- Issues 63 Invitations for Canada PR

British Columbia province's most recent draw conducted by the British Columbia PNP Tech Pilot attended 63 invitations to apply issued to applicants with skills and relevant work experience in 29 targeted occupations.

The British Columbia Provincial Program draw which held on December 3 highlights the required minimum scores were 90 points for all the 4 streams which are targeting both skilled or professional workers and global graduates.

The 4 BC streams were: 

  • Skilled Immigration– Skilled Worker
  • Skilled Immigration– International Graduate
  • Express Entry British Columbia– Skilled Worker
  • Express Entry British Columbia– International Graduate

The preceding British Columbia provincial immigration draw observed invitations to apply announced to 348 skilled or professional workers and international graduates.

The draw that took place on November 26 issued invitations to apply through its 5 provincial nomination streams of British Columbia.

Skilled or professional workers within the direct BC provincial stream minimum demanded score was 94 points to be eligible, which is less compared to the minimum demanded score was 100 points required for skilled or professional workers by the BC province’s Express Entry-associated stream.

British Columbia’s direct provincial stream for global graduates reported a minimum demanded score was 101 points, which is less compared to the minimum demanded score was 103 points required for Express Entry associated international graduate stream. Entry-level workers and semi-skilled workers stream minimum demanded score was 77 points.

The British Columbia Tech Pilot launched in 2017 and it has been continued till 2020. Now it has a list of 29 target professions with requirements that are relaxed. BC Tech pilot draws intended specifically at tech workers which started in May 2017.

BC Tech Pilot Employment Offer Requirements

  • Employment Offer in the 29 listed targeted occupations
  • Employment Offer needs to be for a duration of one-year or above
  • Employment Offer needs to be valid for a duration of 120 days or above at the time of submitting the application
