Global accountant Deloitte has requested the Government of United Kingdom, not to limit migrant skilled workers following UK’s exit from the European Union, as it may affect its economy adversely.
The Britons vote to leave EU will compel financial organizations to seek advice from firms like Dell, on changing business locations and future prospects in the Europe.
David Sproul, Deloitte UK’s senior partner and chief executive in his statement said, “The early economic indicators suggest the uncertainty created by the Brexit vote will lead to a slowdown in the second half of this year.”
He also said, “The rights of EU migrants should be protected and any future migration policies should respond to our economic needs rather than be overly focused on total numbers. This is whilst recognizing the need for politicians and business leaders to make the economic case for immigration more clearly.”
According to the survey conducted of the chief financial officers by Deloitte, controlling the skilled migrants would adversely affect the UK’s ability to attract foreign investment.
