Ireland Economy Gets 7bn From Companies Who Have Physics Business Annually

Physics-based businesses contribute substantially to Irish economy. More than €7bn of funds and direct employment to over 86,000 people is given by companies with Physics based business. This was revealed by a report from the Institute of Physics (IOP).

Physics, and physics educated and trained people are employed in medical technologies to ICT, web services, space industry and some areas of high finance.
