Popular Saskatchewan Canada Express Entry 400 Applications Submitted Within Hour

Popular Canada Express Entry category opened by Saskatchewan immigration office on June 13, 2018.

Saskatchewan Express Entry stream in the International Skilled Worker category received 400 applications against its 2018 goal of 2,600. It closed again within few hours.

The category mainly aimed at skilled workers who want to work and live in Saskatchewan province, in Canada Express Entry Pool having a profile and meet specific criteria. Applicants need to pay a non-refundable $300 fee on presenting their application.

Eligibility Criteria for Saskatchewan’s Express Entry Stream

Applicants from Canada outside, or with Canada legal status, eligible for the category of Saskatchewan immigration, presented they are not a refugee candidate.

Additional criteria candidates must meet:

• In Canada Express Entry Pool Having a profile and a code of job seeker validation.
• Out of 100 points, at least candidate need to score 60 points in the SINP grid.
• Candidates need to produce language test results which are valid from an approved testing agency. The results must meet what you stated in your profile of Express Entry.

• Candidate must complete at least post-secondary education of one year, apprenticeship or training that’s relative to the education system of Canada. You must have received a degree, certificate or diploma.

Should have at least one of the below criteria

• In the past three years One-year work experience in Canada (trades and non-trades).
• In the past five years two years work experience in a skilled trade; or
• In the past ten years One-year work experience in a skilled profession (non-trades);

• Candidate must have work experience in a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A or B counted in demand in the province of Saskatchewan.
• Show you are qualified for a license in Saskatchewan, where your profession is organized, or a skilled trade. Certificate from the  Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission is required for skilled trades.
• Candidates need to submit settlement funds proof and plan of settlement.
