US Immigration : Deported Indian Students Can Apply For The Visa

Indian Students who were denied entry into the United States two months back can apply for the US Visa again. They are not deported; they were not allowed to enter due to specific reasons. Now, they can apply for the US student visa. Deputy Ambassador of US in Delhi, Michael Pelletier, said the Indian students are welcome to study in America.

Pelletier, stressing on the importance of Indian students in US, around 1, 30, 000 students are studying in United States. Contributing largely to the American Economy, India is the second largest sender of the students to US.

 A US embassy official said, stressing on various issues related to students migrating to the border states of the country. If there is non-alignment with the documentation supporting visa, border officials clearly wanted to hear the reasons behind Studying in the US. However, issue was temporary and students who have been turn around can apply for the visa.

United States respects the contribution of the Indians prowess in different fields. Many Indians have taken the lead positions in US Senates and advisory boards.
